Chemical fertilisers are nutrient specific and provide certain nutrients which are present in natural fertilisers but in large quantities.
However the downside with using chemical fertilisers is that they deprive the soil of its fertility and the nutrients supplied lasts for very short duration of time so farmers have to keep on using more and more chemical fertilisers to the point where they literally grow their crops only on chemicals which affects us when we eat the products produced on farms using chemical fertilisers.
There are many natural alternatives to these harmful biproducts such as:
1. Compost made from recycling farm waste
2. Animal excreta
3. Natural manure
and many more
