Hello there,
Alloys are used because :
1) They are having higher M.P and B.P. thanks their constituent elements.
2) They do not oxidize ( Burn ) in high temperature.
Hope u get it and plz mark it as the the brainliest.

The heating devices such as a toaster and an iron needs a large amount od heat to do the necessary work
The alloys have a very high resistance and high melting points which make them produce higher amount of heat rather than a pure metal when heated also they have a high melting point which means they wont melt easily
Thank you
