why are convex mirrors kept in public places?

Convex mirror are used in public place because convex mirror have large field of view, we can farthest object in small size image

A convex mirror is kept in public places for security. They are also kept in shops for the prevention of theft. They are ideal for garages,shops,parking lots, and etc.
