Endocrine glands are known as ductless glands because their secretions are directly released into blood and not to any tubes or ducts

Ans: Endocrine glands are ductless glands. An endocrine gland secretes a chemical substance called hormone. It is a gland which does not have duct and SECRETES ITS PRODUCT DIRECTLY INTO THE BLOOD STREAM .
