why are fairy decorative lights always connected in parallel

Itbis because if one light do stop working the other lights do not stop working

fairy decorative lights are always connected in parallel because if one bulb fuses the whole circuit does not break and other bulbs decorate the house as they are ..........!!!!....in place of parallel if they are connected to series or hold circuit may breakdown if one of the bulbs gets fuses .....!!!!!
