carbon dioxide is known as dry ice.
As it is dry but in the form of ice as well as
it do the sublimation in which it get converts directly into the gas without coming in the form of liquid.

the carbon dioxide that we breathe out is again consumed plants to produce energy and oxygen. gas in our planet full stop however carbon dioxide is commonly found gas in our planet. the solid form of carbon dioxide is called dry ice. it does not melt into any wet condition. since it's never wet, we call it as dry ice
