Why are gaseous jars full of hydrogen kept inverted?

because hydrogen is litthest gas

Because Hydrogen is the lightest gas and is many times lighter than normal atmospheric air, if the jars are kept inverted then Hydrogen would flew away so, the Hydrogen is kept in inverted jar as the gas would not escape.
