Hi friend here's your answer...
Gases are compressible becaues there is lots of empty space between the molecules of gas, so they can be easily compressed.
But in liquids though the space between the molecules are more than the molecules of solids, yet the molecules are still quite close together. Therefore, liquids can be compressed to a small extent.

gases are more compressible than liquids because they have more intermolecular space between their particles. Thus, compressing them becomes more easier as compares solids or liquids.For example gas in perfumes or cylinders.
