The following are the reasons why girls are denied for education:

1. They are regarded as subordinated to boys.

2. People think there is no need to teach girls because their main role is limited to the household. Thus instead of education, they must be taught cooking, sewing and caring of the family.

3. The male section of our society thinks that if they initiate education for girls it will cause great harm to the patriarchy and they will be no more dependent on males.

4. "The girl is the wealth of others" is so common phenomena in India society.
