Why are Glaciers not found in your surroundings?

Glaciers can only exist in the regions where the the temperature is zero or below zero degrees Celsius and secondly sufficient amount of snow is required for the formation of glaciers. Thus as high temperature does not support the formation of glaciers in a same way less amount of precipitation also a hindrance in its formation. That's why they are not present in our surrounding as special conditions are required for the formation.For example Antarctica.

Glaciers are not found in our surroundings.In our surroundings the climate changes but in some places the climate remains cool through out the years.As glaciers require snow and 0 degree or less than that temperature and our surroundings dont have that temperature glaciers cannot be formed
