If a body moves with a velocity of constant magnitude along the circular path, the only change in its velocity is due to the change in the direction of motion. The motion of the body moving along a circular path is called circular motion, therefore, an example of an accelerated motion.

circular motion is a term that defines an object’s movement in a rotating manner. In this motion, an object navigates around a circle, such as the planets moving around the Sun in each of their orbits. The object also moves around its center at an equal distance, but accelerates as it goes around in order to maintain a circular motion this is called as circular motion
