organisms should be classified because of the following reasons:
1)it is not possible to study every organism.Study of one or two organisms of a group can give information about the essential features of the group
2) there is no way to identify organisms without a proper system of classification.
3) Organisms of other localities and fossil can be studied only through a good system of classification

Classification is the arrangement of organisms in a series of group based on physiological, biochemical, anatomical or other relationships. The classification of organisms help the observer understand to which group the organism in connected to and this knows it's total habitat. It helps the reader know what the organism is and to which group it belong to.They are classified for their variations, colour and many more characteristics
