Why are local names not sufficient for recognising the organisms????

The local name of a particular plant or animal is not sufficient in identifying an animal because a plant or animal can have many local names according to the language spoken in that area

Hi friend,

Local names can't be understand by the world peoples. In order to understand and identify the organisms by all the peoples they use ICBN or ICZN code.
