Lung alveoli are covered by blood capillaries because the blood of body to get oxygenated from the oxygen which come from the atmosphere to the bronchioles then Enter into the alveoli of lungs which get undergo a process of diffusion with the surrounding blood capillaries which result in the blood coming from the body after diffusion from the cell of body then this blood get oxygenated from it and then it goes to again  body cell in order to oxygenate the body cell
