Medium height organisms are not produced for any organism because

When two parents are cross or breed to produce progeny then the first filial generation ,shows the trait of the dominant gene.In the second filial generation the train would be a recessive of the F1 generation to be dominant. Hence new kind of train is not created namely medium height. But ,an organisms can acquire traits based on variations in the environment.
