When two mirrors are kept parallel to each other infinite images are seen
because the object forms an image behind 1st mirror that image acts as an object for the other mirror this continues so infinite images are formed
When two mirrors are kept perpendicular to each other 3 images are formed(actually 4 are formed 2 coincide to form 1 image so 3 are formed then)
The initial object forms an image behind the first mirror this image acts as an object for other mirror and again another image is formed behind the second mirror .
