It's made by twisting staple fibres together for making a cohesive thread or "single."

Twisting fibres in yarn is a process called spinning and yarn spinning was the first processes to be industrialized in India.

Natural fibres from plants and animals play an increasing role not only in ethical clothing and other textiles but also in unexpected areas as automotive industry.
