Why are oxidizing agents found in fireworks?

The main role of the oxidizing agents is to provide enough oxygen to the fuel so that it can burn easily ....

In firecrackers ,to burn it oxygen is necessary ...though oxygen is abundantly present in the atmosphere oxidizing agents are used in them so that they can burn more efficiently.
