Why are peninsula rivers seasonal in nature?State any 3 reasons

1).They are rain fed-rivers.This rivers depend upon the monsoons,especially during October and November.
2).They are often subjected to shallow volumes of water,often due to weather's pattern
3).The short course of the peninsular river further contributes to the variation in the volume of river water.

Features of peninsular rivers are seasonal in nature-
The flow of river is depend on rainfall
They do not have a water source which can provide them water through out the year.
They have short and shallower courses as compared to Himalayan counterparts
