Because pickle and curd contain weak organic acids which can react with aluminium as aluminium is a quite reactive metal. Lactic acid present in curd can react with aluminium.

Hope this helps !!

pickels and curd contains acid as we all know. we also know that metal reacts with acid to produce metal salts. thus if kept in aluminium container or any other metal container.,it wil result in production of undesirable metal salt which will hamper taste and smell of the food. thus it should not be stored..
