Why are prokaryotes known as primitive cells?

➡️Prokaryotes known as primitive cells because they don't have the arrangement of nucleus like eukaryotes.
➡️The nucleus of prokaryotes have no distinct membranes.
➡️It lies in the contact of cytoplasm.

Prokaryotes don’t have arrangement of nucleus and it do not have distinct member that’s why it is known as primitive cell.
