Recycled plastic bags are considered as harmful for the environment, because -

• The recycling process of the plastic materials is very complex and consumes a lot of environmental resources in order to again transform into usable material.

• There is a large segment of the plastic materials which is rejected from the recycling centres. These plastic materials cannot be recycled and thrown out in the environment.

• Those rejected plastic materials from the recycling centres, later causes the land pollution and many other environmental degradation.

• And, on the other hand, the successfully recycled plastic materials becomes non-recyclable for the next batch which finally becomes toxic waste materials.
