Seasons depend upon the Revolution of Earth.
The orbit of the Earth is elliptical.
so at certain areas it is near the sun n a some points it is far from the sun.
This is winter.
now the Earth is far from the sun.
so see ! there is a drop in temperature.
22 Dec is a winter solstice.
on this day , the Day is the shortest and the night is the longest.
