A shadow is a dark area where light is blocked from a opaque object. It occupies all of the three-dimensional volume behind an object with light in front of it.

hey frnd!!
how do we define something is black it is soo simple
first of all we should know tht how do u see everyday objects From very basics of physics, there is a property called ‘reflection’. So whenever light rays get reflected from an object, we can see that object. Now every object around us reflects some particular spectrum of light that’s why we can see some objects as blue and some as green or any other colour. .

shadow is not a real object .so it cant reflect light . anything which dosnt reflect has black colour .
