many Indians are against feminism because they are of old thoughts that women should not do something or arise in society.

As women is to patriarchy the same way men is to Feminism. I don't endorse both we should talk about equal society , where pro gender thoughts should be impartial. what about third gender. don't forget they are much much more marginalised than women or men since time immemorial.
Also true...but feminism is about equality too
we just want equal status as the men
u r right.. and women have equal status as per our constitutional and legal rights
but until we change certain stereotype mindsets of indian society we cant bring equality give some time there are lot many reasons.
