Why are some lakes full of algae?

Some of the lakes are full of algae.

Because when the farmer's use chemical fertilizer in there fileds and when they allow water in to the field,the water will mix with chemicals and reaches into small lakes and pounds.

So the algae rises to feed on the chemicals.

Nowadays we use lot of pesticides and chemical fertilizers for betterment of our crops.

So they got mixed with the water and make water unpure .

Plants mostly grow near the lakes , ponds etc but they get overgrown .

This overgrowth of the plant around the lakes or ponds results to algae or bacteria

This overgrowth make the water unclean , unpure
