Why are some of Carl linnaeus’s Classifications of organisms incorrect?

carl linnaeus mainly classified organisms based on gross morphological characters. Like for eg angiosperms were classified based on vegetative characters or on the androecium structure. He never took into consideration the internal features also vegetative characters are more likely to change with the changing environmental conditions. thus his classification was not regarded appropriate:)
