Hi dear here is your answer

Biodegradable waste - Are those waste which can easily compost and which are easily degrade by microorganisms.
Like - paper ,manure waste ,kitchen waste,

Non biodegradable waste - Are those waste which is not degradable by small microorganisms and take million years to compost in soil.
Example - Plastic bags, bottels etc .

That' why we say no to plastic material because it is not degradable and taje too much time .

hope it helps ☺

♤ Substances which are organic are biodegradable.Exmaple :- Agricultural waste

♤ Substances which are inorganic are non bio degradable. Example :- Polythene bags

♤ Decomposers can utilise organic substances as their food while other substances cannot be utilised by Decomposers as food .

♤ Due to this reasons some substances are biodegradable while other are non bio degradable.
