What are Striated Muscles?

==> Those muscles which have striations or light and dark bands are called straited muscles.

Coming to the question,

1. Striated muscles are called voluntary muscles because they work on our own will. They get tired easily.

2. Striated muscles are attached to bones and help in the movement of body parts. So, they are called skeletal muscles as bones form skeleton which have striated muscles attached to them.

◉ Speed of contraction is slowest.
