Also these trees are of that height because when a young plant is growing it gets much less amount of light for photosynthesis due to other tall trees which are closely packed. Hence, in order to get light, the plant has to grow taller. And since they get much less amount of sunlight, they produce leaves of large surface area so as to trap maximum amount of light. Hence because of all these features, they appear to be impenetrable.
