Why are testes located outside the human body​

They are located behind the penis in a pouch of skin called the scrotum. Thetesticles produce sperm and testosterone. The testicles are located outside the body because sperm develop best at a temperature several degrees cooler than normal internalbody temperature

temperature of testes is variable so they are out of body...Some scientist says that they require higher temperature so are in outside
