In the room when air is hot its density decrease and rises up. So ventilators help to move out hot air from the room and lower its temperature. So,ventilators are made close to the ceiling.

Explanation:

The ventilators made close to the ceilings, because hot air is less dense compare cold air.

Therefore, hot air moves up towards the ceiling and ventilators help to remove hot air from the room. It controls the temperature of room as the hot air is removed through ventilators and it decreases the temperature of room.

During night time, ventilators allow the cold air to flow inside the room. It also secures the oxygen level in a crowded room by circulating air.
