they are transferred into boiling water so that the Silk Pupa dies the silk is easily extracted

because the coccon will be having the silk strips rolled in it and it is covers by the caterpillar so the silk strips are there in it and it will be used for making cloths and we boil it to protect the silk so the smoothines will be in that and it shines
