Under normal light blood appears red because most colors are absorbed except for red which bounces back from blood. in the case of Humans, skin serves as a filter for the red color, and the colour therefore perceived is green

HEYA FRIEND HERE IS YOUR ANSWER
- The veins appear green because of refraction of light.
- Veins look greenish-blue because light has to penetrate the skin to illuminate them .
- Blue and red light being of different wavelengths penetrate with different degrees of success .
- What makes it make to your eye is the blue light.
