Why are the day blooming flowers usually bright coloured where as the night blooming flowers are scented

The insects are able to see clearly during day time. They get attracted by the bright colours of flowers for pollination.

But for Pollination to occur during night, the insects can't be attracted due to their inability to see during night. Hence, flowers blooming at night are scented which is another way to attract insects.
