why are the forests grown near equator called as tropical evergreen forests

The eqautor is the region were there is more sunlight and heat. There plants and trees grow faster in those region. Therefore the forests grown near the equator are called tropical evergreen forests.

their are to many reasons just like..they get sufficient amoutn of ligth moisture.. wind weather change condition...that why they always evergreen and don't shade their leafs..
