The Golgi bodies are known as organelle found in the Eukaryotic cells. The Golgi apparatus packages proteins into membrane bound vesicles before sending the vesicles to their destination. The Golgi apparatus or the Golgi body resides at the intersection of the secretory, lysosomal and the endocytic pathways.

Answer:

This organelle is also important in other ways, specifically in the transport of lipids throughout the cell and the creation of lysosomes. The Golgi complex works closely with the rough ER. When the ER makes a protein, a transition vesicle is also made.
