My debate is being against from the idea.
"Good morning audience, my worthy oponents, Adjudicator/judge, and my fellow team mates. I am ______(Name). The idea today or should I say motion is that "Marks for sport is a good idea" and I oppose this idea.
First let us understand the idea first, when we say mark it means grade. So getting a grade in sports is a good idea. But it isn't.
What about the other students who have problems in their cardiac, lungs or whatsoever. Especially those students with asthma, how about them? What about the students that are good in volleyball but not in basketball. It means they will get a low grade.
This is simply unfair, as being excel in a sport is a talent from god (you can remove the phrase 'from god' if you are not Christian or catholic). It would be unfair if they would have marks for it.
I believe that sports are a way of stress relievers, happiness, or a competition. And I don't think it should be a part of our academic grades.
And that is where our argument ends, thank you.
