Land close to the river is much fertile because it remains moist.

  • Some roots of the fruits trees are brittle and delicate which when placed in the wet soil die sooner.
  • Also for a certain type of fruit trees like persimmons the soil particles need to be thick which acts as a cover in protecting the delicate roots of permission.
