why are the metal are good conductor of electricity whereas glass is a bad conductor of electricity? Give reason

Metals are good conductors as they have ions which facilitates the flow of current whereas there are no such ions in glass

Glass is not good conductor of electricity because it has no free electrons to move but metals have free electrons ti move
