why are the stones on rail tracks ?

pls give me answer ...........i know its very hard but i also know this that ur brain is very sharp like me cause i thought this question...

because when the earthquake and train is passed stone was absorb vibration that is why stone on rail track

stones are spread on the railway tracks because stones absorbs many vibrations when a train passes through these tracks . stones works as a shock absorber at that time. also it helps to give support to the tracks as the weight of the train is very much and to stable the tracks.
