the wages of the farm labourers in Palampur less than minimum wages because there is lot of competition in the village the people were difference do not get enough money as other people can get their work even the employment given to them is not satisfactory they are not allotted 6 times their work lot of hours and do not get equal and payments others and they do not even have job security

1. They are landless . They don't have land of their own . So they depend mostly on labour .
2. There is a tough competition for work in Palampur so it is difficult to get work.
So Labour's are ready to work at low wages .
