Species of animals become endangered for two reasons : loss of habitat and loss of genetic variation . A loss of habitat can happen naturally . Dinosaurs , for instance, lost their habitat about 65 million years ago.

Some more animals like blue whale, tigers, panda ,lions, etc are also becoming extinct. Humans are also a reason for extinct of such animals. Therefore, we humans should not harm our mother earth and keep her clean and green.
