Answer:-

Tropical rainforests are found near the equator due to the amount of rainfall and the amount of sunshine these areas receive. Most tropical rainforests fall between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. These areas receive more sunlight and the amount of sunlight and intensity of the sunlight the tropics receive doesn't vary much in comparison to other parts of the globe. The high temperatures means that evaporation happens at a fast rate, resulting in frequent rainfall. Temperate rainforests are also rainforests but they are not found near the equator.

Explanation:

The equator is an imaginary circle around the earth, halfway between the north and south poles. Temperatures at the equator are high. These high temperatures cause accelerated evaporation of water, which results in frequent rain in forested areas in the tropics
