Viruses are called as parasites where, they are considered as both living organisms and non-living organisms.
EXPLANATION:
They do not replicate in normal environment , but once inside the host cell they replicate. They do not own their metabolic activity. They cannot eat the food and grow on their own. The RNA versus are especially prone to mutation. In host cell they are susceptible to genetic change and divide to form replica.
