HELLO!!..

☆ viruses are non-living things out side the body of any organism but reproduce once it enter in a host. Viruses are non-living when they are outside the host cell as they don't have any cellular machinery of their own. ... That's why they are considered as link between living and non-living.

HELLO DEAR FRND
HERE'S UR ANSWER..
Viruses are considered as a connecting link between living and non-living things as it is known Viruses are non living and they don't have any kind of their cell system or machinery..They only have genetic material either RNA or DNA (!!never both!!)
But when they find their SPECIFIC HOST , they enter into them and infect their cells and take over the machinery of host cell to replicate and form their(virus's) copy and hence killing the host.
So from here we can't fully tag them as LIVING or NON LIVING...Therefore we prefer to call them as a link between living and non living..
