Why are voluntary muscle called skeletal muscle?

Voluntary muscles are attached to skeleton and their function is to move skeletal parts. Therefore, they are called skeletal muscles.

voluntary muscles are known as skeletal muscle because these muscles are atttached with the bones for the movement of limbs.
