why are we able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather than a cup

this is bcz the surface areaof the hot tea increase and when the surface area of any thing increases then it is able to get dry faster bcz the molecules get enough space to evaporate.

because in there is wide opening on saucer so evaporation takes place easily but cup has small opening it does less evaporation
