why are we able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather then a cup?

the surface area that is connected with the air is less which is why it takes time to too cool whereas the surface area shwn to the air in the saucers is more which allows it to cool quickly.

surface area of saucer is more than that of cup due to whcih more molecules of tea are in contact with air in saucer so they will evaporate faster ,more vapours will come out  and it will get cooled faster.
