We are able to suck liquids through a straw because :-

When we suck then at furst the air oresent in the straw comes in our mouth and in straw vaccum gets created .

So , there is low concentration / pressure in straw and high concentration / pressure below straw .

And any thing moves from high pressure to low pressure . Hence , liquids also move when we suck .
